Listening to Place

Monthly community gatherings in Montague, MA

My partner Adrienne and I have a practice of gathering on the second Sunday of each month at Brooks Bend Farm in Montague. We call these gatherings Listening to Place. They include time for solo wandering and reflection, plus a chance to share and listen from the heart in the company of others.

We gather to tend our relationship with the places that hold us. To cultivate and deepen reciprocal relationship with the land and more-than-human world, seen and unseen. To slow down. To reconnect to with place, community and the deeper rhythms of life. To witness, see and be seen, listen and be heard, remember and be remembered.

In these times of uncertainty and change, it is our deep relationship with the land and to each other that can help sustains us and cultivate an inner sense of well-being. If you are so moved, join us in remembering we are not alone, we are interconnected to all beings and we belong to one another.

Free and open to all. Feel free to reach out if you’d like to practice listening to place with us.
